I stumbled across the SE16.com website a couple of days ago.  Definitely one to add to the list of useful local online resources.  The latest news is posted on the home page as an automated feed, but there are also News and Events sections, which provide archives of the most recent news stories under different categories.

Published by Bankside Press, a newsletter is sent out by email every Wednesday. They are also on Twitter at https://twitter.com/se16 and Facebook.

Bankside Press is a small family-run web and print publishing business based in London SE1.  Their main site is the eternally useful and very successful London SE1 Community Website http://www.london-se1.co.uk website has a very active discussion forum.
