About Me
- Andie Byrnes
- I trained as an archaeologist many years ago, but lack of funds and excessive rain drove me into telecommunications where I worked for over 15 years. However, once archaeology is in your blood, it never goes away, and I am now carrying out post-graduate studies in Egyptian Archaeology (prehistory) at UCL, London. I live in an area on the edge of London, in the Rotherhithe peninsula.

It's lovely to see these gorgeous photos and remember that autumn has more to offer than this evening's howling winds! I particularly love the Honesty.
The howling winds have been flattening my poor garden! The dock seems to provide a funnel for the gales and the sound is quite unreal. I don't actually recall them being this bad before - or at least not in the last five years or so.
